The achievements of Wilson Parking in developing ParkWatch, a unique concept five years in the making, have positioned the company at the forefront of the car park facility management industry. Wilson ParkWatch is a product designed and developed to address a range of aims considered to be of primary importance in car park management. By embracing cutting-edge technology as a substitute to traditional sedentary labour solutions Wilson have been able to increase staff productivity, reduce the potential risks to staff, reduce the level of CO2 emissions, expand the hours of operation and ultimately create a more efficient and effective operating process through simultaneous control of multiple car parks. ParkWatch has been developed through extensive investigation of world’s best practice and while inspired by the best control rooms in Europe is unique in its provision of on-line, real-time streaming digital voice and video. CCTV cameras, intercom systems and electronic transaction technology have created a quantum leap in the capabilities afforded to car park operators, perhaps the first such leap since the development of boomgates.
