| About The Winner: | The Australian Business Awards are delighted to recognise Orara Turf as recipients of Award for Product Innovation. The achievements of Orara Turf in improving the quality of domestic turf product, and establish a unique turf product specifically for the elite market have been achieved through a self-contained Research and Development nursery on their Coffs Harbour farmland. Over the past three years Orara Turf has grown and diversified, using their Research and Development nursery to develop improved growing techniques and trial different turf and plant varieties. Orara are constantly refining and developing their methodology, investing in upgrading and developing their facilities and utilising the most modern technologies and products. Their innovation has provided a definite advantage of exclusivity in the marketplace and has allowed Orara to environmentally friendly varieties designed to be drought tolerant and reduce water usage. |
