By developing a marketing strategy designed to take advantage of positive media relationships and leverage community good-will they have been able to differentiate Mater from other healthcare providers in the marketplace.
The Mater Marketing Department has ensured that the media has presented an overwhelmingly positive perception of Mater Health Services. They have identified the primary marketing targets of hospitals and healthcare providers and in so doing have been able to secure more than twenty new Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) for Mater’s four private hospitals through a carefully designed and very effective VMO development plan. This outcome has been worth millions of dollars each year.
